Envision G2219W1 LCD Monitor

By Plasma LCD on July 30th, 2008

The Envision G2219W1 is part of Envision’s Professional line of LCD Monitors and it is available at a very affordable price tag of only $269. This is a 22-inch widescreen LCD display and it can be a good option if you are planning to upsize your computer monitor.

While this computer monitor is a beauty to look at, its piano-black and high gloss finish is a nightmare when it comes to cleaning as it is a magnet to dust and offensive fingerprints. The problem with this monitor is its lack of connectivity options and multimedia features like speakers, webcam or even the very basic USB port. Adjustability is also a bit of a problem because it can only be tilted but does not have pivot and swivel features.

However, this monitor can be a gem for those who want to watch DVD movies while taking a break from work as it has and HDCP-compliant DVI port. This monitor has a 5 ms response rate and a horizontal viewing angle of 170 degrees. When using this monitor for data entry or plain display of documents you will notice that texts that have very small points of 5.3 still look pretty decent but a bit fuzzy so settle for a 6 point.
