Hitachi P50X901

This 50-inch stylish Plasma TV from Htachi may look sleek but it is not ideal for video afficionados who want more from their sets that what the Hitachi P50X901 can offer.

This HDTV boasts of audio and video controls selection but it suffers from some picture quality problems and poor picture contrast. Of course it has a 1920×1080 pixel screen resolution but this does not make a difference at all and frankly, there are better 1080-resolution TVs out there.

But if you are not at all particular with all that then you will find this TV good enough. It has other charming features like the glass top and side trim that is only an inch thick which makes it easy to clean. You will also get a kick out of the swivel stand which is remote control and which allows you to rotate the screen left and right up to 40 degrees.

Connectivity is also good as it has three HDMI ports, two component video inputs, an RF input and a CableCard slot. You can view your photos through the SD card slot mounted in front for maximum accessibility.
