Hitachi UltraThin LCD TV

Americans are in for a treat as Hitachi’s Ultra Thin LCD television becomes available for purchase to US consumers. The Ultra Thin LCD TV by Hitachi got rave reviews when it was first presented during the annual Consumers Electronics Show held in last week last January.

You can choose from four screen sizes from the smallest 32 inches, 37 inches to the bigger 42 inches and 47 inches.  The ultra thin TVs are tagged 1.5 displays because they indeed have 1.5 inches display depth.

However, this LCD does not only have its thinness to boast of but also its outstanding picture quality. 

Prices range from $1,799 to $4,499 (for the UltraVision V-Series Models) and from $1,999 to $4,699 (for the Directors Series  Models).
