The HP w2408 LCD Monitor is a good buy if you want a monitor with a wider and brighter screen to work on. It’s not really a big monitor, just a 24-inch panel but it has a bright and wide screen display with a 1920×1200 resolution.

Unlike other monitors with 72 percent NSTC color gamut, this LCD monitor boasts of the VividColor Technology with a 92 percent gamut which explains the full range of colors it can display. Expect sharper colors and brighter images from this monitor.

Aesthetics-wise, the HP monitor delivers with a glossy black cabinet accented by a silver trim. It has a bezel and grooved edging that can easily accomodate HP accessories like a webcam or the Easy Clip.

Ordinary connectivity is provided including three USB ports, analog input a DVI port and an audio jack for speakers. For easy plug ins, you can make use of the additional USV ports, two actually, which are on the display’s left-hand side. However, the LCD monitor lacks extra entertainment connections such as A/V ports, component video inputs and S-video ports.
