The 24-inch Dell G2410 is plainly designed with angular features and a black matte finish. The bezel measures a short 0.75 inch long on all sides and the middle of the bottom bezel has a slightly raised silver Dell logo on it. The panel is nearly 1 inch deep (In comparison, most 24-inch models we’ve tested have a panel depth of more than an inch); however, the back of the display–which houses the backlight, connection options, and ventilation system–extends another 1.5 inches, bringing the full monitor depth to about 2.4 inches. The panel width measures 22.4 inches long–average for a monitor of this screen size.
The LED backlit Dell G2410 offers stellar all-around performance at a low price. Also, its onscreen display is intuitively designed and includes unique energy consumption options.

The bezel of the 23-inch Dell SP2309W is a striking, glossy black that reflects everything, but it also attracts many fingerprints. The bezel measures a short 0.75 inch long on all sides, and the middle of the bottom bezel has a slightly raised silver Dell logo on it. In the top center of the bezel is an integrated 2-megapixel camera. The panel is nearly 1 inch deep. (By comparison, most 24-inch models we’ve tested have a panel depth of more than an inch). A thin, 1 centimeter strip wraps around the outer edge of the panel, bringing the panel width to 22.1 inches–average for a monitor of this screen size.

Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ

The Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ offers great movies and games performance and has a useful onscreen display. The monitor is aesthetically pleasing and is compatible with Nvidia’s 3D Vision Kit. We saw cleaner textures in fast-moving games in the 120Hz mode.
The Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ is expensive for what it offers. It only supports DVI. There’s no screen height adjustment, rotation, or pivoting.
The Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ is the best choice for 120Hz 3D stereoscopic gaming on the PC, with great movie playback to boot. For all other needs, there are cheaper alternatives.
Dell UltraSharp 2007FP

The 20.1-inch Dell 2007FP features the same two-tone color scheme and attractive, versatile design as other members of the UltraSharp family. A thin, black bezel frames the screen, and a slim neck extends from a Y-shape base. This design offers exceptional flexibility, with 45 degrees of swivel to the right and left and five inches of height adjustment. The panel also pivots from landscape to portrait mode and tilts 5 degrees forward and 20 degrees back. The pivoting action is a bit stiff, and the short back leg of the base makes the 2007FP a tad unsteady, but the overall merits of the design far outweigh these minor shortcomings.
Excellent image quality; lots of adjustments options; composite and S-Video ports; USB hub; picture-in-picture window.
No dedicated brightness or contrast buttons; onscreen menu is difficult to navigate; base is slightly wobbly.
The attractive Dell UltraSharp 2007FP combines superior image quality, a full range of adjustment options, and a fair price. The result is a 20-inch LCD that’s hard to beat.
