Pioneer’s Much-Improved G9 Kuros

Pioneer’s Much-Improved G9 Kuros will be avaialble this year but only in two sizes, the 50 inches and the 60 inches. Pioneer is settling for bigger screen G9 Kuros this time around as evident with the dropping of the smaller 42 inch offered by the manufacturer before.

To prove its mettle, Pioneer lined up the ninth series, which is officialy known as the Kuros Generation Nine, with other brands as well as its very own G8. As expected, the G9 had outstanding blacks levels that are way beyond what the competition can offer, even by the G8 which Pioneer claims is slight off by 5x deeper.

Take a road test and try watching with the Kuro G9 with the lights off and notice how it is virtually impossible to determine if there is a separate line between the bezel and the screen.

The new G9 can however create a dent in your pockets as it is said to be priced from £2,400 to £4,200 depending on the sizes.
